Armoured or unarmoured?

SWA / braided / tape-armoured cable needs an armour-clamping gland (BW, CW, E1W). Unarmoured cable needs only an outer seal (A1/A2).

Dry indoor panels take BW or A2. Outdoor, washdown or buried runs need sealed CW, E1W or IP68 PG/metric glands.
