Material Advantage

Why electrical makers specify brass.

Copper conducts better — but brass machines better, threads better and lasts longer in the connection. Six reasons terminals are brass.

✓Conductivity + machinability

Good electrical conductivity with far superior machinability — complex terminal geometries turned fast and repeatably.

✓Thread integrity

Precise threads that survive repeated connection cycles without stripping under installation torque.

✓Non-magnetic

Essential for applications sensitive to magnetic interference and electromagnetic shielding.

✓Non-sparking

Inherently safe for electrical components used in explosive atmospheres and flammable environments.

✓Corrosion resistance

Resists tarnishing and oxidation — connections stay low-resistance through years of service.

✓Cost balance

The best balance of conductivity, strength and price for light-duty, control and panel wiring.

Part Families

Eight families. Every connection covered.

From ring terminals to HRC fuse contacts — every part below is machined in-house in Jamnagar in IS 319 free-cutting brass (tinned copper where the standard demands it), in the size, plating and tolerance your project specifies.

Engineering

Materials, plating & honesty.

We use brass where brass wins — and tinned copper where the standard demands it.

Brass Grades

IS 319 / BS 249 / CuZn39Pb3 free-cutting brassCNC tolerance ±0.02–0.05 mm; RoHS-compliant lead-free brass on request.

Copper Where It Counts

Tinned electrolytic copper for high-current lugsHigh-current tubular lugs follow the DIN 46235 copper class — we keep brass and copper lugs as separate lines.

Plating Matrix

Electro-tin standard · nickel 8–12 µm · silver on requestTin for solderability and anti-oxidation; nickel for wear and corrosion; silver for contact faces.

Dimensional Conventions

To DIN 46234 / 46235 dimensions on requestMachined to the standard’s dimensions; formal compliance or UL listing only where independently certified.

How We Work

From your drawing to export dispatch.

A straightforward five-step workflow — built for panel builders and switchgear OEMs who order terminals by the ten-thousand.

1

Drawing review

Send your CAD drawing, DIN reference or sample. We confirm material, plating, tolerance and tooling — with DFM feedback where it helps.

2

Quote & sampling

Firm pricing with lead time. First-article samples produced for your approval before bulk production begins.

3

CNC production

Turning, milling and threading on CNC centres — prototype lots to high-volume OEM runs.

4

Plating & inspect

Electro-tinning or nickel plating to spec, then dimensional and thread checks across every lot.

5

FAQ

Common questions from electrical parts buyers.

What electrical brass parts do you manufacture?+
Brass terminals and connectors, cable lugs, pins/sockets/inserts, MCB and switchgear parts, earthing accessories, neutral links and bars, HRC fuse components and battery terminals — machined in Jamnagar to your drawing or DIN dimensional conventions.
Why is brass the right material for electrical terminals?+
Brass combines good conductivity with superior machinability — threads stay intact through repeated connection cycles, hardness resists stripping under installation torque, and it is non-magnetic, non-sparking and corrosion-resistant. For high-current lugs we use tinned copper instead, as the standards require.
Should I choose brass or copper cable lugs?+
High-current lugs are best in tinned electrolytic copper (the DIN 46235 class standard). Brass lugs suit lighter-duty, control and panel wiring where machinability and cost matter. We manufacture both, as separate line items, and will recommend honestly based on your current rating.
What plating and finish options do you offer?+
Electro-tinned as standard for solderability and anti-oxidation, nickel plating (typically 8–12 micron) for corrosion and wear resistance, and silver plating on request. Natural brass finish is also available.
Do you make terminals to DIN 46234 / DIN 46235?+
We machine brass terminals and lugs to DIN 46234/46235 dimensions on request. Formal DIN compliance or UL listing is only claimed where independently tested and certified — ask for the relevant certificate.
Do you make PCB terminals and moulding inserts?+
Yes. We machine brass PCB terminals, threaded inserts, knurled inserts and charger pins to tight CNC tolerances for electronics and switchgear manufacturers.
What tolerances do you hold on turned brass parts?+
Typically plus/minus 0.02 to 0.05 mm on CNC-turned brass parts in IS 319 / CuZn39Pb3 free-cutting brass, with dimensional test certificates on request.
What is your typical lead time for bulk orders?+
Lead times depend on part complexity, plating and quantity — share your part list or BOM and we will confirm a firm production schedule with the quote.
Do you export electrical brass parts from Jamnagar?+
Yes. We export to 12+ countries across four continents with export-quality packing, HS-code invoicing and test certificates on request.
What is your minimum order quantity?+
MOQs start at 100 to 500 pieces depending on part and finish, with bulk pricing for larger export volumes. Samples are available before bulk orders.
